| | my new business idea | | I just heard of a new site from China that sells all kinds of replicas of expensive products, like watches, purses, clothing, etc. For example, they sell Armani jeans, for under 30$ or Rolex watches for 50$. And I was thinking that I should buy some of these replicas and sell them at a profit. What do you think? First of all, should I trust a company from China? One of the repliers jokingly said, Oh, come on, I saw you leave your stretch limo with your Gucci bag waving at us poor folk....this was in reference how a neighbor had assumed that I had inherited $100,000 when my mother died..how I WISH. So I joked back saying...Drat I was hoping to be incognito but yes that was me in my Versace jeans, Christian Dior Blouse, and don't forget my $30,000 Rolex watch.Anyway it got me thinking...Now I know Rolex watches[b]ARE[/b] expensive, but I was curious about just how much..and yikes I came across one that is listed as are you ready? $249,600 and is the Rolex: Day-Date Masterpiece (Platinum-Baguettes/ Meteorite-Diamonds/ Platinum-Baguettes)type watch.Now maybe since I've never been a "watch" person to begin with I just can't help thinking how ludicrous it is to spend so much money for one friggin' watch..in fact I haven't even worn a watch in over twenty-five years period. I mean, now with advanced filters and spam protection systems, why do you think people still try and spam others' inboxes with ads that are going to be filtered anyway? Pretty much everyone I know either has a hotmail or a gmail or Ymail (or mail from some other big wig internet company out there) and they all have spam filters!Let's take those Rolex watches for one:
To allow for one successful spam message, the message has to:
1. Reach someone without a spam filter - tiny, tiny chance of that there.
2. Reach someone who has enough money to buy a Rolex anyway - Ooh, probability's shrinking.
3. Reach someone who doesn't mind spam. -><; and
