Climbing Mt.Kilimanjaro trip is the beacon which attracts many Tourists in East Africa. Kilimanjaro trekking can be done through Machame, Shira, Rongai, Marangu, Umbwe, western Breach-Arrow Glacier, Londorosi/Lemosho routes to the Kibo –Uhuru summit 5895m.
I have traveled so many places, Tanzania is one of them. Here I have safari information which I presume is useful for other travelers.From the snows of Mount Kilimanjaro, the vast plains of the Serengeti and the unique Ngorongoro Crater, to the barefoot luxury of its Indian Ocean islands, Tanzania offers some of the most wonderful locations in Africa.
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, with three peaks Shira, Mawenzi and Kibo. Kibo is the highest 5895m and has snow throughout the year. Normal physically fit person can climb and reach summit 5895m.

It amazes me that we can be online and chat with people all around the world, recieve an education in your jammies at your computer, gain access to virtually any information you desire. But with this comes a terrible downside that I believe desperately needs to be managed.
When we were children, we came home from school and did our home work by looking things up in reference books and writing it down on paper. Then we went outside to 'play'! What a concept!! We ran, we rode bikes, we played baseball, tag and red-light green-light. We also got a huge whoopin' if we weren't in when the street lights came on! We ate our dinner, maybe watched a LITTLE TV and then went to bed at a decent hour TIRED. Now our children come home, do there homework on the computer, play computer games, play video games watch entirely too much TV and all that this involves is sitting. When we were kids a trip to McDonalds was a special treat. Now with our hectic schedules it's a typical dinner on any night... | |

I love to read. I purchase alot of books from Cookbooks to Historical Fiction and everything in between. I have found so many wonderful sites online that offer free downloadable books. One of my favorite is Bartleby.com. It has cookbooks like Fanny Farmer Cook. It has a variey of reference books. you can search the index by Author, subject or title.
I am currently reading Jane Austins, Pride and Prejudice. It is a free download on from The Harvard Classics shelf of Fiction. It is downloadable with adobe reader.
